Proton Ventures explores the possibility to develop a Nfuel petrol station in Brielle. On 9-12-2010, a discussion was held with interested parties to determine whether and how Proton Ventures can develop a NFUEL station. Hans Vrijenhoef visited Iowa in September 2010 to investigate the local situation for NFUEL applications Typical ammonia storage tanks are in almost every farmer's coop available. Lynn Ostendorf of Gold Eagle Cooperative explained the principles of how and why ammonia is used as fertiliser in his area and Hans Vrijenhoef could explain the development of the NFUEL production skids.

Proton Ventures gives presentation at the 7th Ammonia Fuel conference in Detroit - 30 September 2010
Proton's presentation was well received by the participants in the conference. The demand for NFUEL units will be a new development over the coming years in the USA.But also in other parts of the world it is awaited with interest to start a NFUEL unit operation which is working without fossil fuels . The application of NFUEL in the motorcar industry is currently fully recommended by the Clinton Climate Initiative. Orascom Construction Industries (OCI) confirmed today that OCI Fertilizer International B.V. (a Fertilizer Group subsidiary) has signed an agreement to acquire 100% of the shares in MICRO Chemie B.V. See attached press release.
